CaixaForum Zaragoza’s Tecnorevolución explains nanotechnology with our interactive table.
NanoZoom is an application shown at Tecnorevolución which deals with nanotechnology, one of the advances that already belong to our daily life. That’s the kind of science that inspired movies such as Fantastic Voyage or Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.
A research group from the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) specialized in Multimedia Cognitive Technologies developed an application that employs the interactive XTable as hardware, so that the visitor can experience the nanometric scale. Our body becomes a dimensions standard in order to understand how objects at the nanoscale really are.
This itinerant exhibition by Obra Social “La Caixa” can be visited in Zaragoza until March 26, 2017.
