Interactive video booth for the Tricicle exhibition in Palau Robert
25 July, 2021/Museums and Exhibitions, Software Development
Before each project, the possibility of applying technology to create different, creative and entertaining experiences opens up.
In the case of the TRICICLE CLIC exhibition, dedicated to the trajectory of the Tricicle theater group, in Palau Robert, Juli Capella, curator of the exhibition, commissioned us to design the interactive part of the exhibition. From there the video booth-casting “Haz de Tricicle” was born.
We had the collaboration of Pep Torres and the Stereonoise company to record in our offices and on a chroma background some sketches with Paco Mir, Carles Sans and Joan Gràcia. It was the fundamental audiovisual part, the basis for carrying out the idea.
The recording was screened at Palau Robert, and allowed the public to “mingle” with the actors to rehearse some of their most celebrated numbers, with the possibility of recording the experience and sharing it.
The video booth provided the public with the illusion of being part of Tricicle for a few moments, interactive technology for surprise and participation. It was one more detail in a memorable exhibition that, by reviewing its 40-year history, highlighted the innovative character of Tricicle, a group that revolutionized and opened new paths in the theater scene.
