Interactive for the exhibition “Jugo com una nena!” at Palau Robert in Barcelona
The exhibition “Jugo com una nena!” has used technology and gamification to raise public awareness about the need to break stereotypes about women’s sports.
The exhibition, divided into four areas, was aimed mainly at an audience between 6 and 14 years old, and was designed to be visited as a family or in a group.
DigaliX, together with the museography company Intervento, participated in two of the sections of the exhibition:
- The first area of the exhibition consisted of a game of questions related to the situation of women’s sports practice in Catalonia. DigaliX contributed with the necessary hardware and software, so that, the public could respond through an interactive installed on 4 tablet units.
- In the section “Play with crashes”, we deal with the idea, script, programming and installation of a simulation activity with real bicycles where the public could compete virtually with Patrícia Ortega, a leading athlete in competitive cycling.
The technological resources make for a very participatory exhibition, which combines dissemination and fun.
