27 February, 2020/Leisure and eSports, Media, VR
DigaliX, a technology company in Barcelona, has created its own eSports division. It has its own equipment and event organization services dedicated to electronic sports, a growing sector.
The first DigaliX eSports team is about Simracing, a discipline with one of the highest growth rates in the sector. The first team members come from previous experiences, with participation in national and international competitions.
At the beginning, the main objective will be to capture new pilots and open new teams of other video games through try-out events and the launch of different campaigns, with messages specially aimed at the female audience in order to encourage their presence in a world that is still male majority.
It will also offer the organization of custom eSports events and access to the presence of brands in competitions and streaming channels. All focused on agencies and companies that want to get in touch with an emerging sector, the digital leisure market, which is part of the most immediate future. Putting together the world of competitive sport and virtual technology guarantees spectacle and emotions.
