Introducing Layers of Reality at the KIMconference 2017

During the last edition of the KIMconference, in addition to talking about DigaliX’s career in technological innovation, we introduced for the first time our brand new project. This was carried out along with Magma Cultura (cultural management company) and the producer Minoria Absoluta.

The result is Layers of Reality —a team with experience in contents, culture and technology— and a new product, the GATE VR —a device with all the necessary elements in order to comfortably enjoy virtual reality. This is designed mainly for museums, institutions, events and large equipments.

Our first prototype could be tested during the KIMconference’s exhibition time. Those who sat on the Gate VR met 3 possibilities of using: they visited a museum virtually; they experienced the feeling of being in a bunker by means of a war documentary filmed in point of view; and also the option of a show, as they were part of an episode of the Catalan TV satirical show Polònia. Just a small sample of how far this new device can get us: a gate towards Virtual Reality.
