Tecnología interactiva para el Museo Carmen Thyssen Andorra

Ha abierto en Andorra un nuevo museo de la colección Carmen Thyssen, que incluye tecnología como herramienta para acercar las obras al visitante. Ha sido una apuesta de su director artístico, Guillermo Cervera, y de la ministra de Cultura, Juventud y Deportes de Andorra, Olga Gelabert.
Quien se ha ocupado de desarrollar la digitalización de la exposición ha sido Digalix, con experiencia previa en aplicaciones para museos.
Hay cuatro pantallas interactivas que hacen la exposición más didáctica y participativa. Además de poder profundizar en cada obra con más información, permiten ver las pinturas con mucho detalle y descubrir aspectos que de otra forma podrían pasar desapercibidos.
Uno de los dispositivos tiene unas características especiales: es una mesa interactiva XTable que puede regular la inclinación hasta colocarse en vertical y con ruedas para desplazarse por los diferentes espacios del museo, ideal para utilizar en los talleres educativos del espacio EduCarmenThyssen.
El Museo Carmen Thyssen Andorra está situado en la planta baja del antiguo Hotel Valira, en Escaldes-Engordany.
